Question of the Week

Is football a business or a sport?

Darlo v Grimsby Team News

GRIMSBY head to relegation-threatened Darlington on Saturday knowing that their only hope of getting in the play-offs is to win every game and rely on other sides slipping up.

Town's injury time defeat at home to Kidderminster last weekend looked like the final nail in the coffin in terms of making the play-offs, but if Town win and other results do go their way the promotion prospects could linger for another week at least.

The Mariners are boosted by a fully fit squad and have had the rare luxury of a full week without a game to help players recover from the sort of niggles that don't cause them to miss games but do contribute to the overall performance.

Darlington are bottom of the form league and have not yet won a game in 2012 and look certainties for the drop, even if they manage to defeat the Mariners today.
