Pre-Season Fixtures

GRIMSBY have organised five pre-season friendlies for next season, the highlight of which is a home clash with Hull City. Town also play Scunthorpe in the Lincs Cup, and will face Lincoln in the final if they get past Scunny.

Town have also arranged to play possible BSP newcomers Gainsborough Trinity away, as well as matches with North Ferriby United and Stalybridge Celtic/

The proceeds of the match with Hull at Blundell Park on Friday, July 20 (7.30pm) have been earmarked for youth development.

At least one more home fixture is to be arranged on Friday, July 27, but the opponents have yet to be decided

The fixture list so far is:-

  • Sat July 14: Gainsborough Trinity (a) 3pm
  • Tue July 17: Doncaster Rovers (h) 7:30pm
  • Fri July 20: Hull City (h) 7.30pm
  • Sat July 21: Winterton (a) 3pm
  • Tue July 24: Scunthorpe United-LC (a) 7.30pm
  • Fri July 27: TBC (h)
  • Tue July 31: Lincs Cup final (prov)
  • Wed August 1: North Ferriby United (a) 7.30pm
  • Fri August 3: Stalybridge Celtic (a) 7.30pm.
  • Sat August 4: Brigg Town (a) 3pm.

    The 2012-2013 Blue Square Premier season starts on Saturday August 18.
