Season Ticket Prices Frozen

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 28/05/2012

SEASON ticket prices have again been frozen for next season at Blundell Park. It will be the fourth successive year without a price increase, so attending every game is effectively the cheapest it has been for five years - taking into account inflation.

The £20 offer for junior (aged 1-14) season tickets, when purchased with a full adult season ticket, will also remain for every section in the ground next season. Likewise the "couples" offer of a second season ticket with 25 per cent off the price will remain.

This year will see two new concession prices. Match-day junior tickets bought in advance have cost just £5 (if purchased with an adult ticket) in all sections of Blundell Park, and the young adult/student price bracket has been raised to 21 to accommodate fans in further education.

The only price change to match day tickets is the adult "early-bird" ticket price for the Pontoon and Lower Findus Stands which has risen £1 to £15 if bought in advance, but is still £3 cheaper than the match-day ticket price of £18.

If bought before July 14th season tickets cost as follow:

  • Main/Upper Findus: £299 - £115 saving on match day prices over the season.
  • Lower Findus/Pontoon: £266 - £148 saving on match day prices over the season
  • Senior citizen season tickets: £190.
  • Children aged 1-14 years: £70 (or £20 if accompanied by an adult season ticket)
  • Young adult: £110.

All prices will rise after July 14.

Season tickets holders of course also enjoy first choice of tickets for cup games and some away matches.

Last year Town scored 51 goals in 23 matches at Blundell Park, an average of 2.2 a game, the highest for many years.
