WINGER Joe Colbeck has joined Grimsby Town on a 2 year contract. The right-sided midfielder played for Hereford last season in League Two, but was released by the Bulls this summer following their relegation to the Blue Square Premier.

Bradford-born Colbeck has spent the bulk of his career at his home town club Bradford City, where he spent 5 years. Colbeck was named as Bradford Player of the Season in 2008 He has also played in the Football League for Oldham and Darlington, before joining his latest club Hereford in 2010.

The 25-year-old is a replacement for right winger Michael Coulson, who chose to not renew his contract in the summer, and has yet so sign for a new team.
