SCOTT Neilson has joined Grimsby on loan from Crawley for three months. The 25-year-old winger, who can play on either flank, and has played as a striker before, will be available for Friday's televised clash with Luton at Blundell Park.

Neilson was part of the Crawley side which got promoted from the Blue Square Premier League in 2011, but his involvement at Crawley has been limited since the Sussex club were promoted to the Football League. Prior to joining Crawley in 2010, the Londoner's career has mainly been spent in non-league at Cambridge City, Hertford and Ware. In 2009 Neilson joined Bradford in his first big move, but was snapped up by Crawley within a year.
