Nick Colgan was a goalkeeper who joined Town as first choice in 2009 under Mike Newell. This was Colgan's second stint at Town after a brief loan spell in 1994 on loan.
Colgan joined Town as first choice having been second choice for the majority of his career at Premier League and Championship clubs.
His second spell at Town got off to a disappointing start being injured for the first few weeks of the season. Despite a good pedigree, playing at a higher level for the majority of his career, a lack of first team appearances at any club spoke volumes.
Town were relegated at the end of the season and it was notable for the number of times that the ball somehow 'looped' over Colgan's shoulder, as if lost in a blind spot.
