Aswad Thomas Signs for Woking

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 03/02/2015

ASWAD Thomas has been released from his contract at Grimsby and has returned to one of his previous clubs, Woking, until the end of the season. The left back had been suffering from stress and was believed to be unhappy living in the Grimsby area.

Grimsby have of course signed Gregor Robertson on loan since Aswad left and the ex-Cobbler is currently occupying the left back spot, or last was when the weather allowed Town to get a game.

Grimsby visit Woking next month, and the pair could potentially meet in the Conference play-offs.

The Fishy wishes Aswad the best of luck in the rest of his football career, except when playing Town!
