Town Win Eighth Successive Game

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 28/07/2015

GRIMSBY continued their remarkable pre-season record with an eight successive win, to preserve their 100% pre-season record. But Town had to come from behind this time, although they still managed to claim their fourth Football League scalp.

Kieran Sadlier put Posh ahead in the fourth minute, before Marcus Marshall and then Nathan Arnold scored after the break to turn the game around.

Earlier this weekend Grimsby dispatched Notts County 3-0 with goals from Pittman, Marshall and Amond.
