Town Drawn at Home

GRIMSBY have drawn St Albans at home in the FA Cup First Round. Although some supporters would have liked one of the bigger League sides, a lower league side at home increases the chances of progressing to the Round 2.

Round 3 is when the top two divisions enter the competition and the prospect of lucrative draws at the top grounds. The match will take place on Saturday, 7 November, 3pm KO.

The two clubs have never met before but St Albans sit in the bottom few places of the National League South, the division below Town and the same level at which Saturday's opponents Harrogate Town play. St Albans beat Weston-Super-Mare, Petersfield Town and Deal Town to get this far.
