Who will go down?

We are Town!
We are Town!

Colchester v Grimsby Team News

GRIMSBY hope to bounce back for their mid-season malaise with a much-needed win. The Mariners have just one point from the six games since they rose to within reach of the promotion picture.

Town boss Russell Slade has failed to add to the two signings he has made in the transfer window. However he does have the services of Jamille Matt after the striker's red card against Newport last weekend was overturned on appeal.

Keeper James McKeown is still injured, however, winger Siriki Dembele is available after resuming training following a back problem.

Former Town striker Brandon Comley has joined Colchester from QPR this weekend following a loan spell in Essex. Colchester have not won for four games so like Town are scratching for some form to pull them away from their mid-table berth.

Another defeat won inevitably increase the pressure on Town boss Russell Slade who has clung on to his job despite averaging just over 1 point a game during his second spell at Blundell Park.
