THE Grimsby Town board have issued a statement saying that director John Fenty will continue to run the club and Michael Jolley will remain as manager after successfully avoiding relegation.

Although the club is technically up for sale, the absence of anyone of means willing to take over means that John Fenty will continue as the de facto Chairman, although he chooses not to hold that office.
On the playing side a large number of changes are expected in the close season, but in Michael Jolley have the "young and hungry" manager that the board were looking for and Town could be a good outside bet for promotion next year.
