When are the National League Play-Offs?

GRIMSBY look likely at this stage to be involved in the playoffs, but they still could finish in several positions. The teams finishing second and third have the advantage of playing one game at home, and then the final should they win it.

The higher you finish the better the draw. The 6th and 7th-placed teams will play no home games. 4th and 5th will place one home game. Last year Hartlepool though came 6th and got promoted, beating fancied teams at every stage, so it can be done.

Here are the dates of the games, with the final being at West Ham's London Stadium instead of the traditional Wembley.

  • Mon 23 May – Eliminator A – 5th v 6th (7.45pm)
  • Tue 24 May – Eliminator B – 4th v 7th (7.45pm)
  • Sat 28 May – Semi Final – 2nd v winner of Eliminator A (12.30pm)
  • Sun 29 May – Semi Final – 3rd v winner of Eliminator B (12.30pm)
  • Sun 5 June – Promotion Final (London Stadium)

All the games will be on BT Sport, although the demand for tickets is still likely to be very high.
