GRIMSBY have released their "retained list" with a list of players they are hoping to keep and a number who they have released. The number definitely under contract next season is quite low, although quite a few have been offered new terms.

A fair number of those may sign in what after all is a higher division. In total there are seven first-teamers and four youth players who have been signed on as pros. Ten players have been offered new deals, and five loan players have returned to their clubs, although some could feature in some guise in the squad for next season.

The players leaving include some who have been at the club a while or players a lot of games last season including James McKeown, Max Wright, Giles Coke, Erico Sousa, and Lenell John-Lewis.

Whoever decides to stay, next season will see quite a few new faces and the club will be desperate to continiue their forward momentum after an amazing 12 months in the National League.
