Wednesday Await the Mariners

GRIMSBY will face troubled Sheffield Wednesday away in the Third Round of the EFL Cup. The Mariners this time avoided the Premier League sides after their incredible defeat of Man Utd, but are rewarded by a local away game against a Championship team.

Wednesday fans are planning to boycott the game in protest at the owners, which would take place in either the week beginning 15th or 22nd of September, so Town fans could possibly outnumber the home supporters, as did Leeds in Tuesday night's game. Around 4,000 tickets are likely to be available for away fans.
