David Nielsen The Great Dane! How will we ever forget him? He arrived from Copenhagen with a bang! A lively debut against Huddersfield was followed by THE greatest ever solo performance (in a Town shirt) I have ever seen, at home to QPR. Nielsen was electric and oozed talent. He was the new Messiah.

Nielsen's flicks, skills and summersaults will live long in the memories of the Town fans who saw the Dane play. He was the only striker to play for Town in recent years who could play badly, but still score. It was a shame for all parties that he never agreed terms with Town, after numerous financial disagreements. Don't bet on him failing to score against Town when we meet Wimbledon this year.
