Player Database: Paul Trollope

Another failed 'rough diamond' of Brian Laws who played in the midfield. He joined us on loan in the 1996/97 season and I quite honestly remember nothing sparkling about him at all, apart from scoring in a 6-1 defeat at Bolton.

Trollope seemed to be one of those players that never did anything wrong, but on the other hand did nothing to write home about. The odd thing is that he still plays for Fulham and often makes the bench. Strange for a club with so much money to keep a player who was eventually dropped by Brian Laws!
