ARSENAL eased past a youthful Manchester United side to book their place in the fourth round of the Worthington Cup against the Mariners, beating the English Champions 4-0, despite being reduced to ten men when defender John Halls was dismissed.

Arsenal: Wright, Grimandi (Itonga, 86), Stepanovs, Tavlaridis, Luzhny, Parlour, van Bronckhorst (Halls, 50 (sent off 72)), Edu, Pennant (Ricketts, 72), Wiltord, Kanu
Subs not used: Lauren, Taylor
