A Sell Out looks Likely For Arsenal Tickets

By: Mariners Net
Date: 14/11/2001

THE THIRD day of sales of the Arsenal tickets to season ticket holders has started with more than 500 sold on each of the first two days. Steve Wraith, who is in charge of the Ticket Distribution said, "If sales progress at their current rate, we'll have sold more than 1,600 by this evening."

"Tomorrow, it will be the turn of those people who have the three counterfoils from the Watford, Birmingham and Norwich games. Obviously season ticket holders can continue to come as well."

"We are pleased with the way that the operation has gone so far. It fits in with what fans had suggested on the web-site, and people have been very complimentary."

He reminded fans that the ticket office hours were from 9 o'clock until 5 o'clock each day, and that those outside of NE Lincolnshire could send in postal applications.

Season ticket holders have until Wednesday 14th November at 5:00 to collect their allocation - up to two Arsenal tickets per season ticket, and then it's the chance for all those who collected the three counterfoils from the Watford, Birmingham and Norwich City games - until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday 17th November.

The following week, those people who collected a counterfoil from any game this season will have the opportunity to purchase up to two tickets per counterfoil, and from 9 o'clock on Thursday 22nd any remaining tickets go on general sale.

Mariners Net will keep people informed of sales at 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. each day.

Town are running executive coaches to the Arsenal game. The package includes a match ticket and travel. For details contact Tony Richardson on 01472 608006.

By 10 o'clock this morning, a total of 1170 tickets had been sold, with 4,088 still currently available.
