Question of the Week

Is football a business or a sport?

Players Returning From Injuries

By: Bill Osborne

PAUL GROVES has received some good news this week with Paul Raven, Bradley Allen and Jonathan Rowan returning to the fold after injuries. Raven is expected to be on the bench for Saturday's game against West Brom.

It is likely also that David Smith and Stuart Campbell will be in contention for a place in the squad against West Brom. With senior players returning from injuries Groves has now got the opportunity to be selective in his first team choices.

With West Brom doing well at the moment Groves will need all his best men if he wants to gain valuable points from the game.

Groves is also reported to be looking at an additional player or players to join the Mariners with a few options to look at. It is unlikely that he will secure someone in time for Saturday's game but it could happen next week.
