Midfield Pair In Doubt

MIDFIELDERS Menno Willems and Stacy Coldicott are doubtful for Grimsby's clash with Stockport at Blundell Park tomorrow and will have their fitness assessed before the game to see if they can take part in the vital match.

Willems missed Saturday's draw with Forest suffering from a calf injury and is rated highly doubtful for tomorrow. Coldicott failed a fitness test on Saturday, and likewise looks unlikely to take part in the Stockport game.

Town left back Tony Gallimore begins a three-match suspension for his controversial sending off against Watford - either David Smith or Ben Chapman will get the nod to fill in for Grimsby's Vice Captain.

Town, who have reduced ticket prices to the game for just £5, arguably have to pick up three points against the division's basement club if there are to stand any chance of avoiding relegation to Division Two. Unfortunately that means they have to score a goal, something they have struggled to do all season!
