Grimsby Destroy Palace

GRIMSBY Town scored a remarkable 5 goals today to beat Crystal Palace 5-2. This win sends out a clear message that the Mariners are far from finished and on this performance there can be no doubt that they have the capability to lift themselves out of danger.
Todd scored in the 31st minute and Boulding and Allen both scored in the same 45th minute sending Town 3-0 in at half time. An own goal by Fleming in the 58 minute made the score 4-0 but Palace scored 2. Gray in the 64th minute and Morrison, in the 80th.
Palace then tried to turn the tide but on 88 minutes David Smith made it 5-2. Game over!!
This game must go down as the best game of the season and the one that might have saved the Mariners.
