Slipped Through The Net Survey

By: Richard Lord
Date: 03/04/2003

AS a follow-up to the recent Slipped Through The Net series, The Fishy would like to know what you thought of the work. We would appreciate it if you could spare the time to fill in this brief questionnaire.

As the Fishy is always looking to improve its work, it needs the feedback of the fans to let us know where we are going right and what needs improving on - and if STTN is to return, we want to make it better than before!

If you have not read Slipped Through The Net we suggest you do so before completing the survey!

Your Name: (optional)

Your E-mail Address: (optional)

1. Did you like the format of each interview (introduction - interview - fans piece)?

It was fine
OK
Swap the order a bit
No

2. Did the interviews need the surrounding introduction and fans pieces?

Yes, it makes the interview complete
Perhaps just the introduction
Perhaps just the fans piece
No, it needed neither

3. Were the seven players that were interviewed appealing?

Of course, all of them were!
The majority of them were
Not bothered
Couldn't you have talked to more appealing players?

4. What were your views on the length of the interviews?

Good, you can never go wrong with lots of questions!
Just about right
A bit too lengthy
Should have been half as short!

5. And the quality of the questions?

Better than what you get in the match day programme!
They were varied and interesting
OK on the whole
Failed to get the best out of the players

6. What did you think to the structure of the interviews?

It all seemed in perfect chronological order
Good
Jumped backwards and forward a bit
Scrambled!

7. If STTN were to return, what would you like to see improve?

The questions
The length of the interviews
The choice of players
The quality of the overall articles

8. If you were Dr Fishy, what grade would you have given for this STTN series?

overall it was impressive and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it
a very good series
satisfactory
see me for detention

9. Any other comments?

That's it. Thank you for your views!
