Matt Harrold Recalled

BRENTFORD striker Matt Harrold has been recalled by the Bees as they aim to clinch a Division One play-off spot in their remaining games. The 20-year-old, who has impressed in all of his five games on loan, will play his final game for Town at Mansfield on Saturday.
Russell Slade had been keen to extend the Londoner's loan by another month after a successful spell of two goals in five games. With Michael Reddy currently injured, Slade may be forced to recall rookie striker David Soames for at least some of the remaining six games of the season.
Most Town fans would love Grimsby to sign Harrold over the summer, but dropping a division, wages and relocation to the North are likely to prove a stumbling block for the six footer.
