Aiston Move Breaks Down

MIDFIELDER Sam Aiston, who turned down a move to Grimsby last month after a last minute decision to move to Darlington instead, is now a free agent. The former Shrew has failed to agree personal terms with the Quakers, despite several weeks having elapsed.
Aiston had verbally agreed a two year contract with the Mariners, only to pull out at the eleventh hour after an approach from the North East club.
But the move has backfired after it has transpired that the 29-year-old failed to agree personal terms with the Quakers.
