Big Night for Macca and GTFC

By: Bill Osborne
Date: 03/10/2005

Today is a very big day for Grimsby Town Football Club. It is very rare these days to see a player completing 700 games for one club. But the testimonial match tonight for John McDermott celebrates that achievement.

Will you be there?

Macca signed for Town on the 1st of June 1987. Some of our current supporters weren't even born then! Since then, Macca and Tony Ford have become part of Grimsby's history as the longest serving players and Macca is not done yet!

Tickets for the game are 10 pounds adults and 5 pounds concession.

This will be a night to remember for Macca and for you too. It is your chance to see again some of the Grimsby legends who are appearing in their support of Grimsby's most loyal player.

Would you miss out?

If you haven't got a ticket, there is still time. Tickets will be on sale at the ticket office tonight and the stubbs will count towards the Newcastle game tickets.
