TONY Crane has now had his contract at Town cancelled by mutual consent after being loaned out to Worksop who are understood to have offered him a contract until the end of the season.
Crane, who is a defender has been playing as a striker for Worksop and on Saturday scored a goal from a 35 yard free kick.
He never settled at Blundell Park after suffering a serious knee injury and his poor disciplinary record was also a problem. He was the first signing Paul Groves made as manager but today he has gone his own way.
