GRIMSBY Town Supporters Club is running a coach to Bristol Rovers this Saturday 12th August. The coach departs from Kent Street at 7.00am and the cost is £20. To book your seat ring Bernard Morley on 01472 234592.
Bernard Morley has been working for the fans for over 20 years now. Both he and members of his committee pay all their own administration costs and any profit they make is used for sponsorship.
Grimsby Town Disabled Supporters Club are just one of these who have benefited from the work that Bernard's committee do.
Recently, another group have been advertising coach trips to Town's away games. Anyone can organise a coach if they want to. That is free enterprise.
But it would be a great pity if Grimsby Town fans cast aside the GTSC's 20 years of commitment in favour of a Hull based company who have no affiliation to Grimsby Town.
This company recently posted stickers around Blundell Park until the club stopped it.
Bernard Morley has been supporting the fans for over 20 years now. It would be good to see that support reciprocated.
