Beat the Bookies: Week 35

BRENTFORD came up with the goods last weekend to beat Rotherham; sadly Mansfield couldn't hold on to a two goal lead at home to Barnet to make it a double for Beat the Bookies,

This weekend Town and Rotherham are officially playing for nothing but pride in Meaningless Mid-table Mediocrity - if there's such a thing against a side from Yorkshire. Rotherham have lost every game since they went into administration, so Town's status as Evens favourites is probably justified. 5/2 for an away win though may be worth a punt.
Elsewhere in League Two Brentford v Bradford is also a meaningless mid-table game. However Bradford have got some decent results recently, whereas Brentford's better results have generally been against out of form teams - including us. The Bantams look good value to take three points back to Yorkshire at 2/1.
Lincoln have stuttered a little after a recent fantastic run, not dissimilar to ourselves. They travel to Chester this weekend, who have somehow managed to clamber clear of relegation worries. City should be good enough to take all three points, and can also be backed at 2/1.
The big game in League Two this weekend is Peterborough v Stockport. Both teams are on great runs, and although Stockport have played a mid-week game, 3/1 looks worth consideration for an away win for a side that have won 7 out of 9 and drawn the other 2. Last year Stockport won 3-0 at London Road. Stockport need to win as well to try and get into the top three, a draw is not enough for them.
