Bully Joins Knights

FORMER Grimsby defender Ronnie Bull has joined the exodus to New Zealand Knights. The former Millwall full back joins a host of ex-Football League Pros (including Lincoln's Simon Yeo) at the newly formed Australian A-League side.

"We can confirm today the signing of Ronnie Bull to our squad, meaning our recruitment programme is complete and our training programme begins in earnest," confirmed manager John Adshead.

"Both [Bull and fellow new signing Joshua Rose] bring the characteristics we are looking for in our team, strong personalities, a desire to win and of course a technical ability to complement others in the squad."

Bull was released from Blundell Park in the close season. The left-sided defender will play alongside several familiar faces in the inaugural season of the Hyundai A-League, in which founders NZ Knights are a completely new club. Bull's teammates will include Sean Devine, Neil Eblen, Simon Yeo and Darren Bazeley.
