Another solid performance by the players and with that bit of extra quality we fully deserved the win.  Really looking forward to the next home game on Tuesday.

Great performance, grit, determination, quality defending and at last some attacking nouce! Good debuts from the new lads, looking forward to seeing Ross Hannah fully match fit, could have found ourselves a little gem. Reminds me of Michael Boulding a bit.

Well done lads!

"Falls to Arnold... Arnold! That's it! Thats it! He's sealed it! Grimsby Town are back in the football league!!! Just a minute to go and Nathan Arnold makes it 3-1! Look at the scenes behind the goal! Look at the relief! The agony is finally over!!!"

Quoted from topuphere666
Thing is, teams like Luton and Mansfield come to BP to play football and get a result which in turn suits our playing style as its a free flowing open game, teams such as Barrow will park the bus with 11 players behind the ball. As soon as we learn to break teams like this town we will have a decent chance of going up.

With Neilson and Hannah we will.

Come on Town !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the difference two wingers and a striker with a bit of pace makes great game

I don't mind Roy Keane making £60,000 a week. I was making the same when I was playing. The only difference was I was printing my own - Mickey Thomas

The area you are trying to protect at corners is the goal - Chris Kamara

Very happy with that, especially when it got to 87mins, I felt confident of the win (I know that our defence is different this year but still panic unless we are 7-0 up). Thomas was superb tonight but no one played badly.
