I just hope this new goalkeeping coach can see the flaws with mckeown that others haven't managed to fix

Early days blah blah. Garbage.
McKeon still failing with the absolute basics, Town still seemingly made nervous, not inspired by large following, still conceding the barely couple of chances made by opposition while taking approximately 1 chance out of every 10. There's only one group of people who could spoil the whole feel good factor after a quite incredible summer and that's the actual team.

But yeah, early days, time to gel.....

An all too worrying trend from last season. Let's hope that we quickly change this.

No reason not to keep the faith

Sounds like the performance was there today and apart from a couple of errors of judgement the three points would have been ours

On the balance of play we deserved to win today so no need for any of us to get down-hearted

We go again on Tuesday and I think we will get our first three points of the season in the bag, the first of many wins to come between now and April

This.

James Mckeown is a very good goalkeeper at this level who just happens to have been hospitalised by a serious illness a few  weeks back.

Did that impair his ability to deal with crosses last year too?

Same old same old.

Comfortably the better team and winning comfortably - cue a defensive sub and a late equalaliser.

Chester MKII.

So frustrating hurst hasn't learned from his mistakes. The positives were the back 4, amond and monkhouse. The negative is that kiddy away should be 3 points for a team who has ambitions to win the league. They are terrible.

Feel horrendous, should of won easily as we were much the better team! But am not going to let one gutting result ruin the positivity. Lot of the same old excrement to deal with perhaps but in terms of our play that was a very good performance and shows the way for the future!
