Amond for Tomlinson after 60 minutes please  - no good trying to win a game with 10 men.

Would like to Tomlinson for Amond now, and risk another injury

Lloyd griffith says he is not a fan of tomlinson at all

Is it genuinely paul sees him as something we dont or pauls well known stubborness.

It seems i might be bashing him , im not i just for the life of me not know what paul sees in putting him as our first choice striker at the minute.

Obviously Barnet see something in him and they are a league club. They only signed him in the summer so they see him as a league 2 striker.

Tomlinson off Marshall on i hope and soon by the sounds of things

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

I am expecting us to go 0-1 between 60 and 70 mins.  Amond will replace Tomlinson, the team will wake up and we'll scrape an equaliser.

But it would be better if they played like they were 0-1 down now, rather than settling for a point.

They have shipped him back to non-league after a month.

I only have the commentary to go on but from what I can gather Tomlinson is a more physical hard working, defend-from-the-front type of player. We've certainly conceded very few goals while he's been in the side. FWIW I would prefer Amond, just trying to offer an explanation.

Seems to me that lack of game time is telling for Bogle regarding getting a good partnership going up front

Thing is paul hurst harps on about not ever wanting to bring players in to disrupt the team and for the sake of it.

Well this is one which completely goes against what he says.

Amond was out for a few games so we needed a loan , fair enough we get tomlinson in and he plays thats fine but he never did anything special to suggest amond shouldnt just walk back in.

It just doesnt feel right that he keeps his place week on week especially as he is a loan player and not ours.
