Man City are the top scorers in the Prema Donna League
They scored 39, let 21 in and therefore have a GD of 18
Grimsby Town, however have scored 54, let in 22 and have a GD of 32
We have scored more goals than any other team in the top 5 tiers of English football
Cheltenham 2nd with 53
Peterborough are next with 52

There are a few teams at the top of that table who are on good form really, to only be a few points up on a few teams after the run we have been on is quite surprising.  Just goes to show the standard we need to hit and keep.

I would be interested to know how serious the injury of Downes is. 4th top scorer, most capped player and their captain. Most Cheltnham fans have said that he is their most important player as well.

I would never wish injury on a player, but I think it's ok to hope his absence is a big problem for them.

A great performance Town/Amond after a difficult week.  I had to be in the centre of York. Podge scored 3 goals whilst I was travelling 3 miles home!  (This might be my penance for every game now).

Cheltenham dropping 2 points, and losing their captain to an injury, is also great news. They must be worried that we do not go away.   Still a long way to go.

Makes the Guiseley draw all the more galling but that's gone now. To be on the run we have over 8 games and only claw back 2 points is incredible. Important thing is- as good as they have been, we haven't let them get completely away.
