I know that this Notts County speculation has raised the question re Hurst's contract but surely we need to be doing our utmost to tie Podge down with a longer contract??

"Twelve corners to their one and we could not make it count, full timers (who were rested) playing part timers, struggling to score goals against lesser teams, now injuries to players starting to mount up. Are the wheels starting to come off our wagon."

I would never wish injury on a player, but I think it's ok to hope his absence is a big problem for them.

apparently it's his knee but they don't know how bad yet, but knee probs are seldom quick to heal i think

Makes the Guiseley draw all the more galling but that's gone now. To be on the run we have over 8 games and only claw back 2 points is incredible. Important thing is- as good as they have been, we haven't let them get completely away.

That's a decent point - they must be wondering how the hell they've not shaken us off with the run they've been on.

Gutted we have a meaningless game in the Mickey Mouse trophy next week instead of being able to push on in the league.

This is the time of the season when involvement in the trophy really starts to become a problem and takes the impetus away from our push for promotion.

Fantastic win today,  so proud to be a Mariner!!!

Well let's hope that they get their game played on Monday and there's a result.

the posting member (ooer) on the Chelts forum joined their forum in 2009 so I am thinking it's probably not a fishy simply because of how long ago it was...?
