Liverpool have just loaned young midfielder Layton Maxwell to Stockport for a full year to gain experience. The Mariners could copy this and get one of the next batch of Leeds' youngsters on loan perhaps.

Most NorthWest rejects go to Tranmere or Preston. However, I'd like to see Town get a striker on loan from Everton - either Jamie Milligan or Phil Jevons.

Re: Greg Strong: I've seen him play for Bolton a few times, and he IS strong. But he seems error-prone. Maybe he was low on confidence at the time?? I guess for £100,000-ish we can't expect a Desailly!
