Question of the Week

Who will win League 2?

Cod Widow's Diary Week 6

By: Chez Osborne
Date: 30/10/2000

Long-suffering Chez Osborne, wife of Nick, tells the tale of the week she has had to endure as a Cod Widow. Times can be hard and Nick stretches her patience to the full on occasions as his priorities in life differ widely from her expectations of them!

Diary of a Cod Widow

Tue 24th Oct

Nothing to report for yesterday, BUT today the "sadman" surpasses himself. Before I tell you what he did, he left a message on the message board for me, is he sad or mad?

Right, down to it. Nicko's on nights so he won't hear much of the game. He rings from Kings Lynn on his mobile, "put the phone next to the radio and leave it there till full time" he says. Now is that sad or what? Now go leave me a message, I wont reply to them all but I will read them all.

Wed 25th

Not much doing today. Sadman's gone to the reserve game against Lincoln. Think they won 2-1, can't remember (don't really care). He comes home, demands his dinner and reads all about the win last night. Now I know that's not very interesting but if his BOSS is reading this, let me tell you this, he knew he would be late for work, I told him the time and he said f*** em Town are more important than work.

Thu 26th

Went in town today, bumped into Todd Bontoft. Well almost, by the time I got served in the shop he had gone. Because of the match on Sunday I'm having tomorrow and Saturday off.

Sun 29th

He's gone to the game and apparently he was on TV. He comes home, loads of pics and stuff but he is not very well and he is in pain, so I have to go now and look after the little lamb.
