Have you ever been to Louth United and seen DAVE ELKINGTON play? He's fast, two footed, young, and an intelligent footballer. He always seems to be the best player on the pitch, and with a bit of polish could make the Town squad.

Why bring in average loan players when a local lad like Elkington could make it? I went to school with Steve Heighway, the ex-Liverpool player (below - then & now), currently Director of Youth Football at the Anfield club, who also came into pro football late, at 23 or 24, and Elkington reminds me very much of him.
