The Fishy - Grimsby Town FC

Question of the Week

Is football a business or a sport?

Groves Fit For Rotherham Game

PAUL GROVES has declared himself fit for tomorrow nights clash at Milmoor against Rotherham and centre back Simon Ford is also fit for the game. "I knew it was going to be towards the latter end of the week if I knew I could play, or at least have a go at it," said Groves today.

On the game itself, Groves told the Grimsby Telegraph "We've just got to get on with it and go there and try and get a result. They're in amongst it and it's an opportunity for us. But it's not a case where we have to win. Any form of result would be a good thing and I don't see it as panic stations yet."

"Crewe was a big game for us and, though the result wasn't what we wanted, there were some plus points there to build on."

Millers boss Moore has another view saying "We would like to be in the first division next season so that has to be our main priority. Our first win of the season came at Grimsby and it would be nice to complete our first double as it would put them seven points behind us."

"That would be a big gap at this time of the year, it amounts to three wins for Grimsby and it would mean that we would have to lose three games as well. So it's important that we get three points."
