Town Net Five for the First Time This Century!

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 02/03/2002

GRIMSBY TOWN scored five goals today for the first time in 3½ years to give the club a huge boost in their battle to avoid the drop. The last time Grimsby scored five goals in a league game at Blundell Park was in August '98 when they beat the Baggies 5-1 on August Bank Holiday.

The following table shows the games Grimsby have scored five or more goals in since 1980.
