Mariners Will Not Be Offering Taylor a Contract!

By: Bill Osborne
Date: 30/06/2002

IT has been reported that the Mariners will not be offering striker Robert Taylor a contract despite the fact that he is keen to move to Blundell Park.

Taylor had his contract at Molineux paid up shortly before the end of last season and is looking for a club and is reported to have been keen to rejoin the Mariners having spent a month on loan at Blundell Park last season.

Although he also came back towards the end of the season he was prevented from playing through injury and Grimsby are not interested in offering him a contract.
