Came through the youth ranks and is remembered for scoring the winning goal against Everton in the league cup, he had a formidable partnership with Kevin Drinkell then after Everton he played at Nott'm Forest, Watford, Middlesboro, Millwall. When Lennie Lawrence took the manager's job he was brought back to look after the reserve team.
