Oster Back In Welsh Fold

FORMER Mariners winger John Oster has found himself back in the Wales team after his impressive loan spell at Blundell Park.

His return to the Stadium of Light has seen little first team action but his form with the Mariners was enough to persuade Welsh manager Mark Hughes.

Oster is joined by Leicester midfielder Matthew Jones in returning to the squad after a long-term injury.

"Both lads have recovered from long term injuries and this is a chance to get them back into the squad.," Hughes said.

Danny Coyne and Darren Barnard are also named in the 28-man squad to face Bosnia next month.
