Dr Fishy's Summer Depth Chart

By: Dr Fishy
Date: 28/05/2003

DR Fishy has been looking at the potential squad Paul Groves could have at his disposal next season, and has found some several areas of the pitch where Grimsby are severely short of numbers. Come August next season's team will look considerably different to that which was relegated in May.

The trio of Bruce Dyer, Michael Keane and Richard Hughes were linked to the club in the Sports Telegraph, although all three have been linked in the past too.

Recently, it has been announced that Terry Cooke, Steve Croudson and Steve Downes have been released, while numerous Town players have deals ready to be signed IF they take a pay cut.

The main issues at the moment appear to be:

  • Will Santos sign?
  • Can we afford Keane and Hughes
  • Does Groves want a new winger, or a new striker? Or both?!

Feel free to discuss this on the message boards, and maybe do your own depth charts to compare with Dr.Fishy's?
