By: Bill Osborne
Date: 14/09/2004

TERRELL Forbes, the former Queens Park Rangers defender charged with rape, had his bail conditions varied today to so that he can play for Grimsby Town.

The Old Bailey Judge Brian Barker has allowed Forbes to live at a guesthouse in Cleethorpes, and report to a local police station.

It is believed Forbes has signed a short-term deal to cover for the Mariners injury-hit defence.

Forbes, 22, together with six other men is charged with raping a 15-year-old girl on March 5.

They were all remanded on conditional bail to October 1st when they are expected to enter pleas and will then face trial on November 15.
