Town Sign Striker On Loan!

Date: 04/03/2005

TOWN boss Russell Slade has signed Brentford striker Matt Harrold on a one month loan after Martin Gritton was sent home sick today.

Mariners Net reports that Russell Slade acted quickly to bring in reinforcements to bolster his already depleted squad. Harrold signed for the Bees from Ryman's League side Harlow Town in August 2003, after spending two weeks on trial at Griffin Park before signing full terms.

Harrold will meet up with the Mariners tomorrow, but will not train with his new team-mates until later next week and it is understood that he will train with Brentford each week until Thursday when he will then train with the Mariners.
