Michael Keane

Irish youngster who signed on loan for 2 months from Preston North End at the end of the 2002/2003 season. Made a handful of appearances and scored twice, not really fantastic but was worth a permanent contract.

He was not quite what we were looking for, but a lot better than some of the dead wood we were carrying that year. Joined Hull City from Preston over a year ago, Keane did not fit in with our rivals and left, signing for Rotherham United.

Next Player: Iain Ward
