THE club have announced their priority system for supporters wishing to get tickets for the Carling Cup game with Newcastle. Those fans who have ticket stubs for Macca's testimonial on Mon 3rd October and the Wycombe game on Fri 7th October will have first bite at the cherry.
With Blundell Park's capacity reduced to around 9,000 this season and cup fever running high in NE Lincs after the high profile victory over Premiership Spurs, the demand for Newcastle tickets is likely to exceed supply and fans are advised to attend both games to be certain of obtaining a ticket against the Toon Army.
Any remaining tickets will go on general sale after season ticket holders and those with the two ticket stubs have snapped up their allocation.
Grimsby's Carling Cup match with Newcastle is likely to be on Tuesday 25th October, although this date has not been officially confirmed yet.
Update: The club have now made it two out of three tickets from the Notts Co, Wycombe and Macca testimonial home games.
