Beat the Bookies: Week 25

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 17/01/2006

SHREWSBURY came from behind to beat Carlisle last weekend, which was good news for Town, but bad news for Beat the Bookies.

Home > 2005-2006 Season > Beat the Bookies > Week 25

Town travel to Torquay for their second of three consecutive away games. With Torquay involved in an FA Cup replay this week, it's a good chance for the Mariners to record three points at the struggling Devon club. Town are rated a generous Evens with bet365.com to come home with maximum points.

Carlisle lost on Saturday, but are traditionally strong at home and should be too strong for Cheltenham. bet365.com rate the Cumbrian's Evens to record a home win.

Elsewhere on Saturday JPK Kalala's Congo take on Togo on Saturday night and are rated 7/2 to win their opening game with bet365.com.
