Injuries Causing Concern

MORE injury problems for Russell Slade this weekend with Gary Cohen doubtful for Saturday's visit of Shrewsbury and Gary Jones and Curtis Woodhouse both missing today's training.

On Cohen, Slade told Mariners Net; "It is too early to say whether he will be available. He is again a major doubt at this stage"

The Grimsby Telegraph reports that Michael Reddy and defender Rob Jones both picked up knocks in the defeat at Carlisle. Jones got a kick on his ankle while Reddy's old groin injury recurred after 90 minutes on the heavy Brunton Park surface.

Slade told the Telegraph; "Both Redds and Rob Jones were in for treatment with Dave Moore yesterday. The heavy pitch took its toll at Carlisle but hopefully they will both be back in contention for the weekend

"It is a big weekend for us and we need to be well-prepared for a tough couple of games."
