John Fenty Warns Fans

LAST year the club were heavily criticised by the Football Authorities for allowing fans to come over the barriers before the end of the game.

The club could face a heavy fine or even have points deducted if the same thing happened this season and I would strongly urge our fans , particularly in the Pontoon Stand to stay behind the barriers until after the final whistle.

The stewards and Police recognise that fans want to salute the players after a very good season but public safety is of paramount importance. The players will appear again providing fans respect the above.

Our supporters have been great all season - home and away, and the club management and players have been lifted by you all-- please don't spoil it at the end.

Remember too that Northampton have had a good season and will want to celebrate. Hopefully it will be automatic promotion for both clubs.

Thank you all.
